The Gulf Islands Tennis Open Tournament Draw for 2026 has been set.

SSTA Members and friends are encouraged to join us to watch some spectacular matches.

You will be able to view and order from SSTA's new line of "Merch" - caps, visors, t-shirts and sweatshirts - at the Portlock Pavilion during the Tournament.

Salt Spring Sculptor, Cathryn Jenkins, has generiously donated one of her sculptures for a silent auction fund-raiser to assist with our Junior program. Come and view her sculpture at Portlock Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and Saturday 8:30am to 12:00noon. The silent auction bid sheet will be available at the Pavilion throughout the tournament for those interested in bidding. The winner will be annouced during the Finals on Monday at 11:30am.

Introduction

The SSTA is a vibrant, non-profit tennis club on Salt Spring Island created and operated by enthusiast volunteers, offering healthy recreation, competition and social events both outdoors and at a modern indoor facility. Membership is open to all residents of BC.

The SSTA is an all-volunteer run organization and as a member you will be expected to participate to help the club and facilities continue to run smoothly. (This applies to all Adult memberships, but there may be times when we will ask for help from Junior players and their parents). As a new member you will be contacted by a member from our Participation Committee. Be prepared to choose a role. This page provides information about the many roles available to choose from.
