GULF ISLANDS OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT September 4- 7, 2026

Join us on spectacular Salt Spring Island for a terrific weekend of tennis in our beautiful indoor

facility as well as on outdoor public and private courts.

Entry fee includes minimum two matches (best of 3 sets with 3rd set super tie-break), new tennis

balls, prizes and refreshments on Saturday and Sunday.

A wonderful salmon barbecue + potluck at a lovely Salt Spring property will be available on

Saturday evening.

Registration starts on July 5th. Register before August 1 st to be entered in the Early Bird Prize draw.

Introduction

The SSTA is a vibrant, non-profit tennis club on Salt Spring Island created and operated by enthusiast volunteers, offering healthy recreation, competition and social events both outdoors and at a modern indoor facility. Membership is open to all residents of BC.

The SSTA is an all-volunteer run organization and as a member you will be expected to participate to help the club and facilities continue to run smoothly. (This applies to all Adult memberships, but there may be times when we will ask for help from Junior players and their parents). As a new member you will be contacted by a member from our Participation Committee. Be prepared to choose a role. This page provides information about the many roles available to choose from.
