The Cougar Dome (CD)is a not-for-profit, community based multipurpose sport and recreation facility providing a variety of high-quality opportunities for residents in Truro-Colchester. The facility is a community hub that attracts many hundreds of people annually.

In this video, you will see our first cohort of scholarship students (CD Advantage Program) playing tennis, having fun and doing GREAT!

We are excited to announce that we are accepting additional students in an initiative that is intended to assist youth in Truro/Colchester who would benefit from participating in quality tennis programming in the community.   We have a strong track record of working with youth in tennis, so the Cougar Dome Youth Participation Bursary is being established to identify and support youth who are deserving and would benefit most.

Nominations are being sought, a selection committee will be created, and bursaries of $1000 value will be offered to youth in Grade 3 and Grade 4 to use towards free tennis lessons and programming at the Cougar Dome. 

Our goals for the youth in the program are as follows:

•   Belong
•   Be Strong
