Youth and Adult Coaching Camps, Clinics & Programs 2024  (BOOKING FORMS ARE BELOW, ON THIS PAGE)

Tennis is a growing sport on the Sunshine Coast in BC and the SRC Tennis Club is at the very heart of a growing tennis scene. Coaching is open to anyone interested in tennis.  We welcome non-members.

As a Community Club we believe it’s important we offer our Sunshine Coast BC youth the opportunity to discover the game of tennis or improve their skills – they’re the future!  But we also offer coaching for adults too - whether you've just moved to the Coast and want to join a club for regular tennis, have just picked up a racquet after way too long or just want to brush up on your skills and techniques, then you've come to the right place.

All Coaching programs take place indoors at our community indoor tennis centre at Suncoast Racquet Club, 6000 Lighthouse Avenue, Sechelt, V0N 3A5 (next to Kinnikinnick School). 

We supply all tennis equipment. Participants just need to bring a pair of clean indoor tennis or running shoes to change into.

Year-round our Club Coach, Jacques Joyal, and his Assistants are at the centre of our coaching program – Jacques is on hand to help whether you want to be coached one-on-one or in small groups.  For individual coaching he can be contacted at: 604-741-7858.

SRC Youth Tennis Scholarship Fund and a special Youth Tennis Endowment Fund

These are designed to help families with the cost of coaching here at the SRC Tennis Club and for progressing their young players through to more tennis in BC.  To find out more about how to apply for funds - please email our Club Chair, Tamara F. Jacobsen, at chair@srctennis.ca and she will guide you through the process. 

YOUTH COACHING SCHEDULE: 

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR 2024 Spring Break - Indoor Youth Tennis Camp - March 25-28 at SRC Tennis Club in Sechelt

This Camp runs Monday to Thursday - Total Camp cost for 4-Sessions is $200 per child. Price includes a Youth SRC Tennis Club T-shirt.

Daily session 12noon to 2pm  for 6-9 year old and 9-12 year old groups

• Pre-registration and pre-payment is essential via the SRC website booking form online. You can pay by e-transfer or by credit card.
• If you are a new user on the SRC website it’s very easy to set up and register for a free account, then you can book the session.
• For existing SRC website users, just add child’s details in the booking form under ‘additional player’.
• If program shows it is full, email coach@srctennis.ca and you will be put forward to a wait list and be advised asap.
• If there aren’t enough registrations, we will notify you if we plan to consolidate sessions or plan to issue a refund.

Please follow these steps:

1. Navigate to your chosen session and click on "Book Now."
2. Create a free account or use your existing SRC account if you are an existing member.
3. Once logged in, you must click "+Add Players" and enter your information.  You can add multiple names. You can then put a checkmark next to their name and verify the totals. 
4. You can then select a payment type. If "Online" it will prompt you to enter your credit card information securely via STRIPE. If "E-Transfer", please send an e-transfer offline following the registration.
5. E-transfer payments can be made at: srctennisca@gmail.com
6. Accept the Term & Conditions and Waiver, and click "Checkout"

FOR INFORMATION - The 2024 Winter Youth Group Coaching  Program finishes in March/April

ADULT COACHING SCHEDULE:

These group sessions are open to anyone interested in tennis.  We welcome non-members - whether you have just picked up a racquet after way too long or are new to tennis, then you've come to the right place.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN  FOR  Adult Beginners' Spring Program  - May 2nd, 2024 to May 30th, 2024

This will comprise 5 sessions, running on Thursdays from 6.30-8.00pm.   Price for 5-session program is $250 per person.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Programs in the booking form are sorted by date order so go to  the Adult program in chronological date sequence.
