CTC Protocol

We are thrilled to announce that your membership now comes with even more privileges! We are thrilled to announce that we have been accepted into the Centenary Tennis Clubs (CTC), one of the most prestigious associations of tennis clubs in the world. As one of just nine new clubs welcomed in November, SCLTC is now part of a global community of 96 clubs across 29 countries, and one of only four clubs in Canada. You can explore the full list of member clubs here: https://centenarytennisclubs.org/member-clubs/.

Guidelines for Booking Courts at CTC Clubs:

  • Guest Status: As an SCLTC member, you will be considered a guest at these reciprocal clubs. Please identify yourself as such when booking.
  • Representing SCLTC: when you travel to another club, you are "SCLTC" to the club hosting you. How you conduct yourself will often be all your hosts will know about SCLTC. Our club counts on all members being great ambassadors.
  • Be Patient: Please bear in mind a reciprocal request to another club often has to go through the General Manager or Head Professional and in some cases both. Please be patient with the administration or professional shop team, as they are not in control of the schedule.
  • Reciprocal Club Culture: Each club has its own set of policies, so please take note of the following:
  • Dress Code: Clubs may have different dress code requirements. Make sure to confirm these before your visit.
  • Guest Restrictions: Some clubs have limits on the number of guests or other guest-related policies. Always check these when booking.
  • Same but different: Each reciprocal agreement follow similar format. However each relationship is unique. Please keep in mind what you are able to ask for and recieve at one club may not be permitted at another.
  • Guest fees: Please note that guest fees may apply depending on the specific policies of each club.

Booking Procedure:

To play at any of the CTC clubs, please email Mitchell Fagan at mitchelljayfagan@gmail.com with the following details. Mitchell and Donalee recently visited Barcelona, so if you'd like to hear more about their experience, feel free to reach out to Mitchell directly.

  • The name of the club
  • The dates you wish to play
  • The number of players

Please note that the further you are traveling, the more lead time will be required to secure court bookings. For clubs in Canada and the Pacific Northwest, we recommend a minimum of 3 weeks' notice. Depending on each club's availability, booking your preferred dates may not be guaranteed. Once your booking is confirmed with the visiting club, you will receive a confirmation letter from SCLTC to present upon arrival.
