RULES

WHAT

• The FCTC Summer Singles Ladder is a great way to meet and play matches with other club members who are similarly skilled at mutually convenient times.

FORMAT

• You will be assigned 2-3 matches to be played each calendar month.
• Winners move up.
• Losers move down.

SCORING

• AGREE on scoring system when scheduling each match:
• Superset
•       The basic rules and scoring are unchanged with the winner the first to get to 10 games.
•       If the set is level at 9-9 then a normal tie-break is played.
• OR
• Best of 3 sets
•       Third set is a 10 point tie break.

BALLS

• Both players take 1 unopened can of tennis balls each.
• After the match, the Winner gets the unopened can, and the Loser gets the opened can.
