Join FCTC's Summer House League!
RULES
WHAT
- The FCTC Summer House League is a great way to meet and play matches with other club members who are similarly skilled at mutually convenient times.
TEAMS
- 4 teams equally divided.
- Each team will have 4 lines:
- Line 1 = 3.5-4.0
- Line 2 = 3.5
- Line 3 = 3.0-3.5
- Line 4 = 3.0
FORMAT
- You will be assigned 1-2 matches to be played each calendar month.
- Your line will play the line of the other teams.
- All matches are doubles.
SUBS
- If your assigned partner cannot play, then you can choose a sub from your own team.
- A player can play a maximum of 2 matches per round.
SCORING
- AGREE on scoring system when scheduling each match:
- Superset
- The basic rules and scoring are unchanged with the winner the first to get to 10 games.
- If the set is level at 9-9 then a normal tie-break is played.
- OR
- Best of 3 sets
- Third set is a 10 point tie break.
BALLS
- Both teams take 1 unopened can of tennis balls each.
- After the match, the Winner gets the unopened can, and the Loser gets the opened can.
