Notes from the coach
- Where: Kinsmen Park
- Tennis ball used: Green dot (75% compression), standard (100% compression)
- Players should be able to rally back and forth comfortably and hit volleys, have a basic understanding of serving and the racquet control skills to dribble and bounce a ball with their racquet, and be comfortable doing shuffle, crossover steps and other footwork drills.
- Players will be taught about all the basics of forehands, backhands, serves and volleys as they go through different drills designed specifically for maximum number of touches on the ball to encourage learning by trial and error mixed with coaching at the right moments.
