A friendly reminder on our singles tennis ladder (men and ladies).  We are extending the registration deadline until May 16th.  Please see below and if interested email Kim MacMillan (kimjmacmillan@gmail.com).

 Based on the success of last year's Tennis ladder program, we are extending an invitation for a 2025 Spring session (May 7 - June 30th) to all paid club members.   Tennis ladders give members the opportunity to play singles matches with a variety of players in a friendly, competitive environment.

 All adult members are welcome. All you need is the skill level to maintain a tennis rally (2.0 level or higher), fun spirit, and an appetite to meet other club members of similar interest and playing level. 

How does it work?

The club will gather a list of interested players. Based on the number of entries, results from last year's ladder, and your current WTN ranking if applicable, you will be placed in a group where the experienced club directors feel is best suited for you, focusing on players competing at similar levels. If there are less than 12 entries, everyone may be placed in the same grouping.

All entries will have to share their contact and arrange matches on their own time. Expectation is that you will try your best to play everyone in your group.

Matches can be played on any court (Gordon Hughes or other), provided the match time does not conflict with regular scheduled events (Men's night, Thursday Social evening, etc.).

Match format will be the traditional best 2 of 3 sets, with the 3rd set if necessary being a 10-point tie breaker.

Finally, every player must have a WTN (World Tennis Number) so that they can be included on our WTN Matchplay tool. Kim MacMillan can forward you information on this once you have confirmed registration.
