The Bridgewater Tennis Club operates and maintains 3 hard courts, with lights, and a small clubhouse with a washroom at Kinsman Field. The courts underwent a major repair in 2021 with the support of grants from various government agencies: THANK YOU
Town of Bridgewater: $20,000
Municipality of the District of Lunenburg: $7,000
Dept. of Communities, Culture & Heritage: $25,870
Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency: $38,500
Efficiency Nova Scotia $3,400
Division 26 Electrical in-kind
The Club is still committed to relocating the courts to Generations Active Park in the future (beside HB Studios Sports Centre). Membership fees were adjusted in 2022 to start the capital campaign required to make this move happen, and to ensure that the club has the capacity to undertake the ongoing maintenance and repairs of the current facility.
