SATC is delighted to have several outstanding local tennis professionals working with the club.

In addition to our local talent we also enjoyed our partnership with our Kamloops connection for the following:-

Director of Tennis

Kelly Hubbard is a Tennis Canada Certified Level 3 Coach and was awarded a Tennis B.C. Award of Excellence in 2018.

Originally from Vancouver, B.C., Kelly has coached on three continents: Australia, New Zealand and North America. He was a highly ranked junior before becoming a well-respected coach with more than 20 years’ experience. Kelly’s roles include working as a Tennis New Zealand course facilitator, a Tennis Canada course facilitator, and head coach at the Weil Tennis Academy.

He’s worked with elite players such as Rebecca Marino and Grigor Dimitrov. Dozens of his students have gone on to compete in provincial and national championships.

Kelly is currently the Director of Tennis at the Kamloops Tennis Club (KTC) and splits his time between KTC and SATC

Our Kamloops Coach

Charlie Tischler is a Tennis Canada Certified CP 2 coach. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Charlie played competitive tennis as a junior and went on to great success playing ITFs in North America and Europe. He’s been a sparring partner for many ATP/WTA players.

Charlie has coached extensively in Canada, Spain and the Dominican Republic. He worked with the Junior High Performance Development program at Jericho Tennis Club in Vancouver, and was the Junior Tennis Director at West Island Tennis Club in Montreal. He’s currently a head coach with the Kamloops Tennis Club (KTC) and splits his time between KTC and SATC.
