• Open tournaments are available to anyone
• Closed tournaments are available to club members only
• Junior tournaments are available to those under 18
• Adult tournaments are available to those over 30

(Open) Mount Pearl Grand Slam - June 13 - 21

A unique tournament opportunity styled after a Grand Slam event.

Format: 

• Best 3 of 5 sets (Mens main draw).
• Best 2 of 3 sets (Womens main draw and all consolation).
• Final set: win by two, to a max of 10 games.  10 point tiebreak at 9-9.

Mens entries limited to 16, Womens entries limited to 8 players.

This tournament is a fundraiser for the Open Courts initiative and for Mount Pearl Junior Programming.  Prize money available for winners, runners up and consolation champions.

Men's Schedule:

• Saturday: 10am - 4 matches, top half of bracket
• Sunday: 10am - 4 matches, bottom half of bracket
• Monday: 6pm - 2 matches, top half of bracket.
• Tuesday: 6pm - 2 matches, bottom half of bracket.
• Wednesday: 6pm - top half semi + 2 consolation matches, top half of bracket
• Thursday: 6pm - bottom half semi + 2 consolation matches, bottom half of bracket
• (Friday is a rain day if needed)
• Saturday: 2pm - 2 consolation matches, semi finals
• Sunday: 10am - 1 main draw final + 1 consolation final

Womens Schedule:

• Saturday: 2pm - 4 matches, quarter finals.
• Sunday (rain day if needed) 
• Saturday: 10am - 2 main draw matches, semi finals + 2 consolation matches, semi finals
• Sunday: 10am - 1 main draw final + 1 consolation final

(Open) NL Games Qualifier (Mount Pearl South Region) - July 4 - 5

The Mount Pearl Tennis Club is coordinating the tryouts for the Mount Pearl South region for the NL Summer Games.  Any club member, or member of the public, interested in trying out should register for the try out using this link. 

Everyone should also complete the TNL intention to participate form.  If you live, or go to school, outside the Mount Pearl South region, completing the intention form will allow TNL to direct you to the appropriate tryout.

Age categories for the 2026 NL Summer Games will be Under 15 and Under 13.  Teams will consist of two players per gender born in 2011 and 2012 (U15), and two players per gender born in 2013 and 2014 (U13).
