Give Squash 57 a Try This Fall!

With cooler weather here, it's time to head indoors for some racquet sports. Why not give Squash 57 a try?

Squash 57 combines elements of racquetball and traditional squash. Played with racquetball racquets and a larger, 57 mm ball, it uses modified squash rules. It's a great workout that's a little easier on the body than traditional squash.

Drop-In Sessions Begin November 2

Courts 1, 2 and 3 have been reserved for Squash 57 drop-in sessions:

Mondays and Fridays | 9:00–11:00 am

No booking or previous experience is necessary. Just drop in, give it a try and enjoy a good workout!

Equipment Available

LRC has purchased four racquets and balls for newcomers to try. You'll find them in a basket at the kitchen's front counter. A couple of pairs of safety goggles are also available.

All you need to bring is clean indoor court shoes and protective eyewear.

Club racquets are intended for those trying the sport. If you decide to play regularly, please purchase your own racquet and safety eyewear.

Safety eyewear is recommended for adults and mandatory for players aged 16 and under.
