Wolfville Tennis Club invites you to the 2023 Valley Open!

Due to weather events and road conditions, three of the events have been rescheduled. If you are interested in registering for these events, please contact tournament director Steve LeDrew (see below):

Sat. August 19: Women's Doubles
Sun. August 20: Women's Singles + Men's Singles

Events are open to all skill levels. Each event takes place in a single day. The format will be determined based on the number of entries for each event. You are guaranteed at least 2 matches and no more than 4. Matches will consist of a Pro Set to 8 games. If a set reaches 7-7 then a 7-point tiebreak will be played to decide the winner.

Registration: To register, email the tournament director, Steve LeDrew, at ledrewstephen@gmail.com and indicate which event(s) you are entering. The registration deadline is July 16. The draw and schedule will be emailed to all participants by Thursday, July 20. 

If you are travelling from out of town, please note it in your registration email and every effort will be made to ensure that your match is not scheduled in the earliest time slot. Please include an indication of your approximate skill level, following the Tennis Canada self-rating guide, or otherwise just indicate that you are a Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced player.

Entry Fee: $10 per participant, per event (e.g. the fee for a player entering the women's singles and women's doubles events would be $20; for all three events it would be $30). Entry fees can be paid by e-transfer to ledrewstephen@gmail.com. If this method is unavailable to you, please note it in your registration email and alternative payment arrangements will be made.
