League Team Dinner

The Div 2 Night team will be hosting our next Social Dinner on July 15th.  Join us for a fun and festive HoeDown themed night with chicken, ribs, chili, corn on the cob, salads and much more!  There may even be some line dancing if you're so inclined!  Social tennis will take place beforehand from 4-6 with dinner following at 6:30pm.  Tickets include a fab meal and a glass of beer or wine.   Hope to see you there!

Garbage

There have been huge issues with club garbage.  There is no magical "they" who come to clean up, except for our volunteer Kim Wilson-Sheldon who takes care of the recycling. Thank you Kim.

We have racoons!!!  Garbage that is left in the 3 green bins to the right of the recycling bin is attaqcked by the little critters and they can unlatch the bins and love to spread garbage everywhere.  Please do not put food scraps in the bins, this is an open invitations to the racoons that there is a free meal in there.

If you have items that can be recycled, please put those items in the correct bins.  They are all clearly labelled  but are constantly misused.  Kim does a great job of taking recyclables away and disposing of them correctly, however, she does not want to, nor should she have to go through and sort items that are incorrectly disposed of.

There is a large metal bin in the lower parking lot, which the club pays for.  The key is in the clubhouse hanging behind the door. it is clearly labelled. Please take garbage bags down to the bin, relock the bin and return the key to it's rightful place.  Do not leave full garbage bags in the clubhouse or around the outside of the club.

Barbecue Use

If you use the barbecue you MUST clean it after use.  Be aware of proximity to the clubhouse siding and any other items that are close.  Do not leave it unattended.  Please make sure that it is started and shut down correctly.

To Start:  Turn the burners to the start position.  Turn on the gas and hit the starter button.  Make sure that the burners are lit. Turn the burners to the position you require for cooking.

To Shut Down:  Turn the gas off.   Once the burners are out, put the burner position to off.

Last But Not Least!

It's going to be a beautiful sunny weekend.  We look forward to seeing you on the courts.  Don't forgt your sunscreen and stay hydrated. Come and enjoy.

Court Rules

Please note that the club play rules are here.

With more members coming out to play it is important that all members respect others and follow our rules.  Please note that doubles does not trump singles. When people are waiting, whether to play singles or doubles, you must give up your court after the appropriate time.
