Booking Rules and Conduct
Saville Tennis Centre Policies (Oct 5, 2023)
- During the dome season, the Saville Tennis Centre (STC) is available for all members of the public to reserve courts and play for an hourly fee.
- Users can book a single court for a maximum of 2 consecutive hours up to 7 days in advance. The day the court(s) are booked is not counted in the 7 day period, therefore members may book at 8:15am on Monday online or by phone for up to and including next Monday.
- A maximum of 4 people can be in the court area at a time. Only players and coaches are permitted in the court area.
- All users must stop by the Customer Service desk to check-in and pay applicable court fees in full before they head onto the court. Credit and debit will be the only acceptable forms of payment (no cash sales).
- At this time, the public will not be permitted to create their own accounts to reserve courts but may call the STC to reserve a court. The person who calls to reserve a court, (aka the booking owner), may book and cancel courts under their own name only, and are responsible for all court fees associated with their reservation. Only the booking owner is required to be listed on the court reservation at this time.
- To cancel a reservation, the booking owner must call the STC with at least 2 hours notice. Failure to do so, will result in an infraction and the booking owner’s booking privileges may be suspended at the Tennis Department’s discretion.
- Anyone wanting to book more than 2 consecutive hours, reserve more than a single court, or reserve courts more than 7 days in advance, will submit a special event/booking request via Google form. Submission of this form does not guarantee approval or space availability and some requests may not be granted. The Saville Tennis Department will respond to your inquiry within three business days (we recommend you give as much notice as possible for your request).
- Only approved Saville coaches are permitted to give private lessons.
*Rates are subject to change without notice.

Code of Conduct
Tennis Courts
- Be considerate of others. Watch your behavior, monitor your language and control your volume at all times.
- When at courtside do not talk loudly or move in a way that would distract other players.
- Do not proceed onto your court ahead of your scheduled time. Please wait in the spectator area.
- Court turnover will happen on the hour. For safety reasons, no one should enter the court area during play. As soon as the point is completed, players can enter the court area and begin to warm up and play.
- At the end of a booking, players need to stop play, gather their belongings and vacate the court within 1-2 minutes in a safe and orderly manner.
- When retrieving a ball from another court, always wait until the players have finished their point and then ask for the ball.
- Only tennis players are allowed on the courts. Spectators, including children, must remain in the spectator area.
Curtain Policy
If you wish to open or close the curtains and there are players playing on the court next to you, the following actions should take place:
1. Talk to the players on the court next to you and as a group come to an agreement as to whether the curtains will remain open or closed.
2. If no agreement is reached, the curtains default to being closed.
- Shirts must be worn at all times.
- No spitting on the court.
- No food, juice, soft drinks or gum allowed on court.
- Non-Marking soled shoes must be working at all times on the tennis surface.
Report any issues to Customer Service Staff immediately. Always be respectful to all Saville staff including SCSC & STC approved coaches.
Not following the above STC Code of Conduct may result in a suspension from the facility.
Thank you for your cooperation.
