Ready for the Ultimate Tennis Challenge?
SATURDAY JUNE 20th @ OBTC
SUNDAY JUNE 21st @ Bear Mtn and Cowichan Lawn Tennis
Join the inaugural Tri-Surface Club Challenge, where players from Oak Bay Tennis Club, Bear Mountain, and South Cowichan Lawn Tennis Club battle it out on hard court, clay, and grass in a true test of all-court tennis skills!
Each club will field a team of 8 players (4 women and 4 men, levels 3.5-5.0) competing in both singles and mixed doubles. Expect exciting, fast-paced matches in a structured timed round-robin format, with points awarded for every game won and every ace served.
What's at stake?
- The inaugural Tri-Surface Club Challenge Trophy
- Club pride and bragging rights
- Competition against players from three clubs
- The opportunity to play on three unique tennis surfaces
Event Schedule
Saturday, June 20 - Oak Bay Tennis Club
- OBTC for a 9:00 AM start (please arrive by 8:45 AM)
- Competition on hard courts
- BBQ Lunch and snacks provided
Friday, June 21 - Bear Mountain & South Cowichan
- Morning competition at Bear Mountain
- Fruit platter and smoothies provided by Bear Mountain
- Lunch at South Cowichan Lawn Tennis Club
- Afternoon competition at South Cowichan
- Award presentation and Team photos
All participants will receive a raffle giveaway.
Can't commit to both days? No problem. Players may participate on one or both days.
Cost: $100 per player
(Players sharing a spot may arrange cost-sharing between themselves.)
