Greenfield Tennis Club aims to provide a fun, affordable, friendly and inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels. The club, which has been in operation for more than 43 years, strives to foster a culture of respect and sportsmanship amongst our members and the wider communities of Southwest Edmonton.
Greenfield Tennis Club has four surfaced hard courts, which are available to be booked by members (guest options also available). We also offer a variety of programs and summer camps, which are open to the public, as well as members-only drop-ins.
Relationship With Tennis Alberta
Beginning in 2025, Greenfield Tennis Club and Tennis Alberta formed an operating partnership to help support the club and local community through high-quality and affordable tennis programming. In 2026, this partnership was expanded to designate Greenfield Tennis Club as a Tennis Alberta Community Programs Hub. You can learn more about Tennis Alberta on their website: Tennis Alberta website.

Player Etiquette & Guidelines
The following guidelines are mostly common courtesy. Most of us know the right thing to do, we just need a gentle reminder every now and then.
1. Please wear appropriate footwear. Black-soled footwear will leave marks on the courts, which are difficult to remove. We also request that every player present themselves for play in appropriate attire.
2. Please book your court through the online system, unless you are joining one of the meetup sessions.
3. If you are bringing a guest to the courts, they must purchase a guest pass. Please do not share the gate lock code with them (or anyone).
4. Please lock the gate behind you when you leave the courts.
4. During a game:
- Avoid walking behind a court when a point is in play. Please cross when the point has been completed.
- If your ball goes onto another court while a game is on, please wait for a break and ask for it to be returned or go and retrieve it. If, however, your ball goes onto another court during a point and could risk injury, please alert the players on that court.
- Keep your voice confined to your court as much as possible so as not to disrupt others.
- If you are the last to leave the courts, please ensure lights are turned off, if used, and the gates are locked.
5. No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted on the courts.
6. Please ensure that bags, racquet covers, ball cans, etc. are kept out of everyone’s way when you are on the court.
7. Show respect and courtesy to all. Let us ensure that Greenfield Tennis Club remains friendly and inclusive to everyone.
And the most important rule is... HAVE FUN! You can follow these guidelines and still have a good time on courts – the players on adjacent courts will appreciate it.
