Court Etiquette

Palgrave Tennis Club has 4 courts, and we ask all members to be considerate of others so that everyone can enjoy their time on court.
Booking and time limits: When courts are busy, please limit play to one hour if others are waiting, and be ready to hand over the court promptly at the end of your session.
Dress code: Proper tennis attire and non-marking tennis shoes are required on all courts.
Court courtesy: Wait for a point to finish before walking behind a court, retrieve stray balls promptly and return them between points, and keep noise and coaching comments to a minimum so as not to disturb neighbouring courts.
Programs and events: Some courts may be reserved for club programs, lessons or events. Please check the court calendar before you arrive, and give way to scheduled programming.
