This past week, our club, together with coaches from TNS (Esmé and Marijke) ran a total of twenty-eight (!) 45-min “learn to play tennis” sessions to over 300 grade 4 & 5 kids in 3 schools (Eskasoni, Brookland Elementary, and Shipyard Elementary). This initiative was a tremendous success and earned the club a $2000 equipment grant and hopefully some new Junior students for our summer program. The kids have been invited for a play day at Cromarty on Saturday May 23 (1-3pm), our official in-club registration day.
