Although hitting with higher speeds and greater amounts of spin are often present with players at this level, the ability to return these types of balls consistently, while maintaining the tempo of the rally, both at the net, and from the baseline, is the more important skill needed to play in this group. Almost all drills are rally based and the success, as well as the level of fun had by all participants, is dependant on everyone having the skill set above.
