A question was raised at our AGM re access to the Bayview tennis courts during the construction along Bay/Bayview streets in Thornbury. 

Ryan Gibbons, Director of Community Services, has authorized NRTC members to park on the grass around the Bayview courts. We are also advised that access to the courts may be easier from Cottage Ave.

Director Gibbons issued this authorization per his authority under the Parks and Facilities Regulation By-law 2015-10. This authorization was copied to Debbie Young, Manager of By-law and Licensing and members of the By-Law team.

Jason Petznick, Communications Coordinator Capital Projects suggested signing up at https://www.thebluemountains.ca/planning-building-construction/current-projects/municipal-infrastructure-projects/bay-street-east-reconstruction for weekly updates on the construction. He will also be our liaison to the contractors’ communications staff if there are specific questions to be answered.
