High Performance Academy

Mission

The ATC Academy is designed to develop world-class Atlantic Canadian players through a clearly defined training structure, the highest level of teaching professionals, and a competitive pathway to success.

Goals

  • Use academy development system to successfully produce, recruit and develop talented youths from across Atlantic Canada
  • Produce top level national and international junior tennis players
  • Successfully place ALL graduating students in top level NCAA programs with full scholarships

The ATC Academy will utilize the Tennis Canada Long Term Athlete Development Model to guide all planning, coaching and diagnostic work.

Cost: Each High Performance session is $18 per hour

Payment: Payment is made through our ClubSpark online system. Parents can opt to pay monthly, or for the Fall/Spring sessions in full.

Cancellations: Lessons do not take place on Statutory Holidays, severe snow days, and when Junior Atlantics Qualifiers/Championships are being held.

Missed Classes: There are no refunds for missed classes.

Which level program should my child apply for?:

HP Academy: UTR of 4 and above. Competes regularly in provincial/national events. 

Yellow Elite: UTR between 1.5 and 3.99. Competes regularly in rookie tour/future stars/team tennis/provincial events.

Green Elite: Has basic fundamental knowledge and can maintain a rally from the ¾ court. Competes regularly in rookie tour/future stars/team tennis events.

Orange Elite: Interested in playing multiple times per week and starting to compete.
