Summer Camps

At ATC, we will be offering full day multi-sport camps that will follow the current NS regulations regarding physical distancing. The kids will spend approximately 4 hours on court playing tennis, and 2 hours off court participating in multiple other sports. Our teaching strategy is established by Tennis Canada and other international methods to create a fun and active way of learning. Juniors start by using smaller racquets, softer tennis balls and smaller courts. Summer Tennis Camps at the ATC are all about fun, learning the game of tennis, and improving fitness and coordination.

Programming runs week to week, Monday through Friday. Students are asked to wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. Flip flops are not allowed.

Each child is asked to bring their own racquet for the summer camp. If children do not have a racquet, you will be able to purchase a junior racquet at the ATC.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions

The ATC is constantly receiving feed back given by Tennis Canada, Tennis NS, and the Provincial Government to guarantee our summer camps operate in a safe and fun environment. Below are a few examples we will be implementing to our summer camps.

  • Limited participants
  • Active screening
  • Required coach to student ratio
  • All required cleaning and disinfecting

Please note, due to the new rules regarding Covid-19, we will not be offering early and late pick up for summer camps.
