Metin started playing tennis at the age of 3 and then moved to Canada when he was 14. He took part in ITF juniors and Tennis Europe tournaments. Since 2016, he has been coaching and working for AMA Academy. He has now earned his Pro Club 1 coaching degree, while studying Economics at Concordia and playing for the Concordia Tennis Team. Metin a commencé à jouer au tennis à 3 ans, et puis s'est établi au Canada à 14 ans. Il avait fait partie de plusieurs tournois ITF et de tournois Tennis Europe, et depuis 2016, il est entraîneur à AMA.
